Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the IDIOT website and platform operated by INGREND-TX ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them. Purchases are also governed by our Terms of Sale. 1. YOUR ACCOUNT You must give accurate information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts that are used unlawfully, unsafely or in breach of these terms. 2. ENGINEERING REQUESTS AND QUOTATIONS Submitting a request is not a contract. We review each request and may ask questions, decline it, or recommend a different approach. A quotation states the scope, exclusions, assumptions, price, taxes, payment terms, validity period, intellectual-property position, change control and support terms. A contract for engineering work is formed when you accept a quotation and we start the work. Work outside the agreed scope is handled as a change request. 3. HONEST ASSESSMENT We give honest feasibility assessments. We do not promise that every idea is feasible or that every project will succeed. 4. WORK WE MAY DECLINE We may decline or stop work that is unsafe, unlawful, unethical, infringes the rights of others, or that we cannot do competently. 5. FILES AND CONFIDENTIALITY You keep the rights you already have in what you upload. You give us permission to use your files only to deliver the work. We keep your project information confidential. You must have the right to share anything you upload. 6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY Each party keeps the intellectual property it brought to the project. Ownership or licence of project deliverables is set out in the accepted quotation and transfers only when the price has been paid in full. We keep our general know-how, tools and reusable components. 7. ACCEPTABLE USE Do not misuse the platform: no attempts to break security, no uploading malware, no unlawful content, no scraping or overloading the service. 8. AVAILABILITY We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or withdraw features with reasonable notice where possible. 9. LIABILITY Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Engineering outputs must be tested and approved by you for your intended use, particularly where safety is involved. 10. GOVERNING LAW These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda and the courts of Uganda have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law says otherwise. 11.
